Newtrit is a compact and innovative solution that consists of a monitor and an app. The monitor utilizes spectrophotometry to measure the minerals in the user's body, providing accurate and personalized data. By recording and analyzing the user's nutrition intake and preferences, the monitor generates diet recommendations that are specifically tailored to their individual needs.

What sets Newtrit apart is its emphasis on individual differences. While traditional dietary recommendations are often based on statistical averages, Newtrit recognizes that each person has unique nutritional requirements. During the design process, Dijie Lian conducted extensive research on food, nutrition, and the human body. This included visits to food markets in different countries, interviews with nutritionists and doctors, and observations in nursing homes and restaurants. By gaining a comprehensive understanding of the complexities of nutrition and our bodies, Lian was able to create a truly effective and user-friendly product.

Newtrit was developed using state-of-the-art technology, including spectrophotometry for accurate mineral measurement. The materials used in its production, such as plastic and silicone, were carefully selected for their durability and suitability. The design specifications of the product are 110 mm x 60 mm x 35 mm, ensuring a compact and portable device.

Recognizing its innovative approach and practicality, Newtrit was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Medical Devices and Medical Equipment Design category in 2021.
